The process for appealing is not easy & I recommend you get some independent advice & assistance from the CAB (Citizens Advice Bureau). I myself have used them to assist me in my appeal when I was turned down for my DLA (Disability Living Allowance). Without their support I wouldn't have won my appeal. Soon as they turn you down contact your local CAB & let them assist you. Do not delay as you only have a limited time to appeal.
